In Case of Emergency

Family emergencies are stressful enough on their own.  Imagine having a family emergency and a loved one deployed.  The American Red Cross is helping ease a small part of that stress by using a new  single telephone number to contact service members.

Military. com says, “Beginning June 13,  service members and their families will be able to use one toll-free number, 877-272-7337, to send an urgent message to a service member following the death or serious illness of an immediate family member, the birth of a service member’s child or grandchild, or when a family faces other emergencies. “
